• Entry 928: Wednesday, August 17th, 2011

    Yesterday was a tough day. My aunt Louise passed away. I spent some time in the morning with my Dad. As we do this project personal challenges come up and you ave to take a break. projects come and go but not loved ones. Today I tried to remain focus despite the personal challenges. We take one day at a time. We started to set up our production office in East Hartford.

  • Entry 926: Monday, August 15th, 2011

    Today will be a great day. The team is motivated as we get closer to principal photography. Each department head must be super-focused so they can execute their assignments. If all goes as planned the supporting actors will be contacted this week. We tried to give as many CT actors a shot in the movie as possible.

    I took time to workm on some personal house work. Doing a big project like this it is hard to keep your business and personal life balanced. Usually your personal life takes a hit but you work through it the best you can. The question is always is it worth all the sacrifices.

    I came into the office to follow up on emails I couldn't get to during the week. Also I'm making notes on the last revision of the shooting script.

  • Entry 923: Friday, August 12th, 2011

    10:55 p.m. Myself, Kyle Geannetta and myself in the office still plugging away. The days get longer and shorter as we get closer to principal photography. I'm still catching up on emails and outstanding work. Each day goes past midnight. This journey is rough but well worth it. My mom use to say "anything worth having doesn't come easy". She knew exactly what she was saying.

    A very good day. Myself, Geannetta and Neal met w/some producers from a major talk show. We are trying to tie the host into the program. Everyday things are moving quickly.

  • Entry 921: Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

    Last night I went out with a Coldwell Banker one of our new sponsors had one of their real estate agent's looking at potential housing for our out of town crew. I think we may have located a nice space.Today is filled with several meeting to attract new sponsors to the project. Every department is working hard putting in 12 hr. plus days in to make this happen.

    A busy day. We had good producer's meeting getting prepared for principal photography. We began to make final choices for supporting roles.

  • Entry 919: Monday, August 8th, 2011

    This will be a busy week as we get closer to Principal Photography next month. Today Geannetta and I will review budgets and administrative positions on the project. Each department head is working diligently to create success in their areas.
