Alexander J. Andriulli
Alexander Andriulli has been in love with the art of filmmaking since the age of five, when he told his kindergarten teacher he wanted to be a producer when he grew up.
This passion for creativity burned within him without an outlet until he finally decided to take a chance and began studying production and the creative process through broadcasting and graphic arts. Alexander's first venture into the film industry was as Director of Photography for the Connecticut independent film Fight Ring (written and directed by Sean Gallimore), which won best action feature at the 2008 New York International Independent Film & Video Festival.
Alexander was also an Associate Producer for the 35mm feature film Marathon. With an international cast and crew, Marathon won "Best Cinematography / Best Screenplay" at the New York International Film Festival, "Special Award for Artistic Excellence" at the Mexico International Festival, and "2010 Best Feature Film" at the NYLA Film Festival.
A Connecticut native, Alexander has been co-producer/co-director of the annual Film Industry Mixer for the last six years with its founder Neal Thomassen. Alexander is passionate about the New England film industry, and has spoken in favor of film tax incentive programs at legislative sessions in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
